Chow the Lion!

We went to La Mesa Eco-park over the weekend and I saw this beautiful Chow-chow. The kids at the park mistakenly called it a lion. It made me smile. But this dog had character. He or she (I didn't bother to ask) was dragging his or her owner all around the park.
What's funny though was that the owner didn't have a traveling cage with him. He just tied the dog's leash to the back of his F150. I hope he lives nearby because right after they left, it started to rain heavily.

"Ang Pusakal"

Here's a sample of the wildlife you see at El Pueblo - my daughter calls these stray cats as El Pueblo Cats. I have a fondness for animals specially cats and dogs. Too bad my place does not allow pets. We just have to make do with the strays.

My New Passion

I got an early birthday gift - a Nikon D40 kit with an additional telephoto/macro lens. The photo above was one of my first tries. I love how it turned out. The only post processing i did here was adding a border and caption. I'm still learning.

Trust, Love and Responsibility

I finally had the time to finish a missed obligation. Thank God I did.

I learned something very profound.

I discovered my essence. It was not that difficult to find. It was there all along hidden underneath a lot of paradigms which I held on to since I was plucked from innocence. It's funny because I never remembered much of my childhood.

There were bits and pieces of it much like a fragmented hard drive which takes hours, no days before it gets defragged, and to push through with the analogy, there were some bad sectors detected.

Such were so badly corrupted that I had to literally flush them out. I want that feeling..I want more, as the days after that go by I've discovered a new power. It was like I was pulled from out of the matrix. I want to learn more, about my essence, my true self.

I discovered I could still Trust, Love and be responsible. I didn't know I could, would and should.

Thank you for showing me the way.
